A new site is born

Designing anything for yourself is always a big challenge, especially if you are a perfectionist. Get hours into a new design and scrap it and start over.

I usually try to break the rules and push the barrier on my personal portfolio site, but it always turns out being similar to a fad, which I hate 2 months later. So this time around I went with a tried and tested layout, which should suit a blog and portfolio quite well.

The main reason for this redesign was to get more familiar with the WordPress platform, and with that start writing a blog. In the times to come I hope to provide a place for up and coming designers a portal for knowledge about the web that I have had to learn the hard way over the years.

Feedback is always welcome, good or bad, I have pretty tough skin.
