Background
The story behind blank slate starts in 2007. After obtaining a Design & Digital Media diploma from MacEwan University I went on to work for a local agency (Media-Masters Creative Communications). Three years later I was leading the design department as Creative Director and turning out some pretty solid work. But sometimes the corporate world can be draining. In an effort to maintain my creative freedom, and learn the technical side of web along the way, blank slate was born.
How I do business
I am selective with who I choose to work with. Not out of ego, but out of what I am looking to accomplish with blank slate. I only believe in offering the best product I am capable of, every time. If there are circumstances (busy schedule, lacking the skill set etc.) that prevent me from accomplishing perfection, I promise to be upfront about it.
With that said, always ask and I will let you know if I have availability.
Behind the name
I believe the starting point of all design is a blank slate. Whether its a blank photoshop art board for the development of a website, or a clean sketchbook page roughing out the creative of a logo, it all starts with a blank slate.
